Charming building architecture, Scenic views, High standards of cleanliness
Parking options are unclear and too expensive for what you get!!! Addressing the outdated infrastructure would enhance the experience!!! A little modernization wouldn't hurt!!!

The staff were very helpful and relaxed. The hotel is very close to the centre of Arnhem, yet very quiet. This is a huge contrast to other hotels near the station which are often noisy & cramped. The room itself was large, with a beautiful little balcony and a view over fields to some sort of grand house. The bar and lounge area are relaxed & friendly. The whole style of the buidling is gracious, interesting & appealing. In short, I thought the hotel was great, especially as I have had some bad experiences in other hotels near the centre.

A very well located, friendly and comfortable hotel. Would reccomend to friends.
A lift/elevator would have been handy for luggage and my wife is pregnant.

Elegant & bright unit with the TV, fabulous balcony and comfortable beds. Conveniently located hotel near the rail station, and quiet neighbourhood that abuts a stream.

The room was comfortable and the location very close to the train station, a beautiful park, and town. The breakfast provided was lavish and excellent.
We requested a non smoking room but due to a party downstairs our room was very smoky the first night we were there.

We chose the Molendal because of the excellent reviews that it had and it didn't fail to live up to expectation. The room was airy with a large and luxurious bed, nicely furnished and tall french windows that led out to the balcony.Breakfast was available between 8.00 and 10.30am, very civilised,we were greeted by a very nice lady who offered us beverages and explained that we could help ourselves to the vast array of continental favourites. The Molendal is an old hotel and seems to have retained many of its original features, even some of the stencilled and painted decoration is original. The hotel is perfectly situated, just a few minutes walk from the city centre yet in a quiet back road with a nice view across to the park and residential housing opposite. We loved the Molendal and would definately stay again.

Stunning location, attractive views of the park and amiable staff. Spotless bathroom and reasonably large room. Delicious and absolutely superb breakfast with a lot of tea, cereal, pastries, yoghourt and fruit. Conveniently placed next to the train station. Excellent overall experience.

The stay was fantastic with a lovely spacious room that felt like a home away from home. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge and the beautiful garden area was perfect for unwinding. Just a heads-up, I was charged a bit more than expected for the local tax, but it really didn’t take away from the great experience. 😊

I liked best the elegant, spacious room. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and the bedding and pillows were total luxury. Secondly, the breakfast was superb and served in a beautiful little breakfast room. Thirdly, the staff was helpful and friendly. Fourth, the location was excellent -- walking distance from both downtown and the railway and bus station. At the same time, it was adjacent to a beautiful park. I was sorry we could not stay longer, and would definitely return, as well as recommend highly this hotel to my friends and family.
There was only one thing I did not like and it is soooo minor. But the television volume was controlled so that we could not go above 16. But who goes to Europe to watch t.v.!!! Nevertheless, we enjoy watching BBC before dinner and it was difficult to make out what they were saying at times at a low volume.

The staff prepared a packed breakfast for me when I left early, a thoughtful touch. The place felt cute, and I could enjoy a drink near the fireplace in the evening. After exploring the surrounding parks, it was nice to come back to a cozy space.
The steep stairs were a challenge after a long day.

This is a delightfully quirky hotel in a wonderful exuberant Art Nouveau house run by a team of warm enthusiastic ladies who make you feel really welcome. We had a huge room with a particularly comfortable bed and a large balcony looking out across the canal and out tot the park. They recommended an excellent local restaurant where we enjoyed two of our evenings out. We wanted to visit Het Loo and the Kroller-Muller Museum and found the hotel convenient for both. We loved staying here.
Parking might have been a problem, but we were lucky to find space right outside the hotel for all 3 days/nights we were there.
